How is it to stagger the planting of Gladiolus?

I would like to have flowers during the whole summer rather than one huge bloom in July. I'm planning to plant my Gladiolus in two-week intervals. One of the abodelook "Knowledge Hub" tutorials on timing proved very useful to me, but I am interested to know whether anyone has a personal schedule they stick to? Is it worth the additional effort or is it too difficult to follow?
